VI International Scientific Conference for Young Scientists “Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies: Problems and Perspectives”

Specialists of JSC “Pluton” A.V. Shumanov, V.I. Kapustin took part and made presentations at the VI International Scientific Conference for Young Scientists “Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies: Problems and Perspectives”.

Scientific work “Emitting nanostructures on the surface of impregnated cathodes of microwave devices”  took first place.

A competition of scientific works was held within the framework of the conference.

Scientific work “Emitting nanostructures on the surface of impregnated cathodes of microwave devices” took first place.

A new method for studying the inhomogeneity parameters of thermionic emission of cathode materials was developed: the average size of the thermoemission centers, the average distance between the thermoemission centers, the relative area of the emission-active cathode surface, and the true cathode yield. The method was tested in the study of impregnated cathodes.

The VI International Scientific Conference for Young Scientists “Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies: Problems and Prospects” was conducted on the basis of the Department of “Physical Materials Science and Biomedical Engineering” (FMBI) of the Physico-Technical Institute of the Saratov State Technical University named after Gagarin Yu.A.
A competition of scientific works was held within the framework of the conference. Over 100 young scientists, students and schoolchildren from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Chita, Tomsk, Magnitogorsk, Petrozavodsk, Chelyabinsk, Barnaul, Saratov, Samara, Volgograd, Ufa and other cities of Russia, as well as Belarus, Ukraine took part in the conference and competition. , Spain, China, India, Iraq.
